There is a City no one has seen.
Only its treasury rises over the plain, a coin as wide as the sun.
Every army that comes here swears to take it.
BYZANTINES
A riddle opens the gate. A toll raises the banner. Two thirds take the City. A third betrays it.

The Gates From Within
You hold a third of the army. You can open the gates and take the whole treasury. Every banner you hold burns for it, and the City will remember your name in its chronicle.
Until the gates open, every burned banner still counts. If the City falls first, they are lost for nothing.
